Goshen County has been home to Jeff and his family for 17 years, moving here from Eastern Washington. He has an Associates Degree in Beef Production Management. He’s been a cattle rancher and a rodeo stock producer, with his bucking bulls making it to the Professional Bull Riders Finals and National Finals Rodeo a few times in the 2000’s. He was also a corrections officer at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution for seven years. For the last several years, he rides at a local feedlot to keep his horses tuned up. He is a livestock hauler which takes him across the Western states where he has made a lot of multi-state connections. His family always teases him that they can’t go to a restaurant or gas station without him striking up a conversation with someone and they’ll end up having a mutual acquaintance. He team ropes both ends, even qualifying for the 9.5 World Series of Team Roping in Vegas a couple of years ago. He is a lifetime member and breeder of the American Border Collie Association and one of his dogs placed 2nd in the nation in the nursery division. But Jeff’s real passion is breeding and raising Quarter horses and loves to visit about equine lineage.
